For those clients that come to us for assistance with a capital campaign, we offer the following services:
Defining the final goal, campaign objectives and timing of the project and campaign.
Developing the Case Statement, which then serves as a basis for a campaign brochure and other appropriate materials.
Helping to establish a Campaign Steering Committee and appropriate subcommittees.
Providing support for and attending Steering Committee meetings.
Writing the Campaign Plan, including goals, timelines and job descriptions.
Preparing a gift scale and resource chart.
Developing naming opportunities and gift acknowledgement and recognition programs.
Developing campaign tools and resources, such as files, computer systems, reporting procedures and crediting policies.
Helping identify potential sources of individual, foundation and corporate support.
Guiding development staff in researching major individual, corporate and foundation prospects.
Helping the development staff and Steering Committee rate and assign target lists of major potential donors.
Guiding development staff in the preparation of standard corporate and foundation proposals.
Helping develop a planned giving program and determining how best to integrate it into the campaign.
Preparing a Ways of Giving text.
Recommending ways of ensuring that the campaign encourages increased Annual Fund donations.
Conducting a specially designed Solicitors' Training Workshop to teach volunteers the techniques of major gift solicitation.
Preparing a Solicitors' Guide.
Guiding staff and volunteers in soliciting initial leadership gifts.
Providing ongoing strategy on all other gift solicitations.
Accompanying solicitors, when appropriate, on visits to prospective significant donors.
Advising on cultivation and public relations events for the campaign.
